CAC is an established non-profit social service agency serving Santa Barbara County since its incorporation in 1967.  With a staff reaching nearly 400 people we provide services to approximately 10,000 low-income individuals and families through the following areas:

Children's Services serves the needs of all children under five, parents of enrolled children, and pregnant women and expectant fathers at little or no cost to eligible low-income families

Energy Services helps to reduce energy costs to the consumer and provides utility payment assistance to qualified low-income households

Family and Youth Services specializes in reaching at-risk youth and families in achieving their goals for self-sufficiency through a diverse group of programs and community partnerships

Nutrition Services provides nutritious, high-quality meals to various community and Community Action Commission programs throughout Santa Barbara County
